Dr. Tina Whitted graduated from Auburn University Veterinary College in 1985, after attending undergraduate school at Auburn. She worked at Catawba Animal Clinic in Newton, and then later worked as an associate veterinarian in Statesville, as well as a one year stint at the Spay/Neuter Clinic in Charlotte. She returned to Catawba County to work at Conover Veterinary Hospital in 1996. Dr. Whitted's veterinary interests include surgery, feline medicine, and a special interest in exotic animal and avian medicine.

This includes working with Avian and reptiles, such as lizards and non-venomous snakes. She also enjoys working with small mammals such as rabbits and ferrets, as well as the 'pocket pets' - hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. When not working with critters she enjoys gardening, reading, and quality family time. Dr. Whitted resides in Iredell County with her husband Bob. They have 4 children, 1 grandson, and a multitude of pets including a dog, some cats and birds.
